Where are we?

Les Planquettes is situated at 40mn at the north of Albi, in a main road : Cordes-sur ciel - Monestiés - Mirandol . The geographical area is situated in a motorway triangle composed of the main road : Toulouse - Castres - Carcassonne (A61) ; Toulouse-Albi -Rodez (A68-N88) & then : Cahors -Millau - Béziers. Thanks to the new junction of the A75 by the viaduct of Millau, linking Quercy, Rouergue & Méditerranée.

At 45mn from Toulouse (internatonal airport of Blagnac) , 20mn from Cordes-sur-ciel & Carmaux, and also at 6km from the village Monestiés (a touristical centre) ; les Planquettes takes advantage of the nearness of the commmerces where are present all the trade association : bakery, butchery, hairdresser, tobacco-press banks, doctors, vets & public services . A tourist bureau is as well present in each of these towns.

¤ From ALBI : take the north direction Carmaux-Rodez (N88) , then cross Carmaux (no necessary to take the diversion of Carmaux, to Rodez). At the way out of Carmaux (to Rodez) , take on the left, Mirandol-Bourgnounac by the D905, in Mirandol take on the left towards “Le Ségur” by the D80 , then the D73 (4.5kms between Mirandol & us) cross the locality "les Gazets", then 1km later, the third house on the left : you've arrived!

¤ From Cordes et Monestiés : From Cordes, follow Monestiés. In Monestiés, take on the left, towards Almayrac - Carmaux ( it's a little street which passes by " the entombment"/ " la mise au tombeau" ) you are on the D72. 2 km later, take on the left, towards Trévien by the D73. A nice & picturesque way through woods. Leave then Trévien and its feudal castel on the right and go on to the D73. 3km later, a crossroad indicating Cordes on the left & Mirandol on the right, take on the right, go on 500m, the thirst house on the right : you've arrived !

¤ From Millau-Rodez : Take towards Rodez, then folllow the N88 towards Albi. Cross Baraqueville, La Primaube. A the roundabout of the diversion of Carmaux, follow Carmaux (N88) . 2km later, you cross "les Farguettes", straightforward, towards Carmaux. Just before Carmaux, follow Mirandol-Bourgnounac on the right (D905, be careful to the hairpind bend on the roundabout !) . In Mirandol, take on the left towards "le Ségur" by the D80, then the D73 (4.5kms between Mirandol & us); cross the locality "les Gazets", then 1km later, the third house on the left : you've arrived!
